No two companies are alike and no two scripts should be either. Working across industries as diverse as semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture and IT means entering a different world with every project: different processes, different certifications, different target audiences and different ways of speaking about what they do.
The challenge is to research each client thoroughly enough to write with authority, conduct the right conversations to surface what truly matters, and then distil all of it into a voice-over script that delivers impact within three to five minutes. Every project begins with immersion. We study the client’s corporate website, company profile, product specifications and brochures to build a working knowledge of the business before a single question is asked. From there, interviews with key employees and on-site factory visits give us direct access to the machinery, processes, standards and people that make each company distinctive — context that no document alone can provide.
With that foundation in place, we develop a first draft built around a proposed concept and a clear storyline. The concept shapes how the story is told — for a semiconductor manufacturer, for instance, the narrative might move from macro to micro, reflecting an industry where precision is measured in microns and the demand for smaller, more powerful chips defines progress. For a hospital, the storyline might unfold from the patient’s perspective, making the viewer feel the journey rather than simply observe it. These concepts are refined through client feedback until the script is finalised, after which it determines the shot list — shaping the visual direction of the entire production.
Our involvement carries through to post-production, where we ensure voice-over delivery is accurate in pronunciation and that all on-screen text — the Supers — is free from grammar and spelling errors before the final cut is signed off.
